MISSION for September

Ted and Juli Kautzmann, Latin American Training Network (LATN), San Jose, Costa Rica, and Fairmont, MN, USA

Ted and the leaders of LATN are seeking the Lord's direction for the future plan of LATN.  He and  Enrique Fernandez have been meeting in Guatemala, talking with leaders of Universidad Mariano Gálvez.  They are pursuing the possibility of a working partnership with the University that would give their students in LATN an accredited degree from that school.  It has over 50,000 students in many different schools and degree programs. This would boost their exposure and greatly extend their reach to Christian leaders in Latin America.  The board and administration of the University is made up of all Christians who want to strengthen their offerings in the Bible and theology and strengthen their own ability to offer online education.  Their goodwill and respect for LATN is very evident.  They have no desire to make any changes in what is taught, but bringing together a very small school (LATN) with an extremely large school presents some real challenges for both institutions.   

Pray for Ted's faith, discernment, diplomacy, courage, and vision.  Pray also for Juli at home.  Sarah continues to have medical needs.  Sam continues at university.  James and JoAnna continue to attend school in Fairmont.
